Love my Acer gaming laptop. I’ve abused it for years and it still holds up!
No drivers or software on their site!
I bought 4 monitors just a few months ago and now the f**king drivers and software to calibrate them is nowhere on their f**king site! All they have is answers to questions I don't need! I need the f**king software to calibrate these f**king monitors!
No monitor delivered after 10 days. No meaningful response from customer service. No reply on CS telephone number
So, 10 days after I ordered a monitor from Acer still not delivered. Supplied tracking with DHL not recognised. 4 emails not responded to, customer service number still closed 30 minutes after advertised time. Never again.

Good laptop. Everything else sucks. Tried to state my feelings on their website as a review, but the TOOK IT OFF! They are removing all the bad publicity to make their products look good. Also they select "signature required" so FedEx will chuck your package after 3 failed delivery attempts. Also, they pay extra, driving the laptop price up, for a mode where it shuts off the ability to "hold at FedEx location" so you HAVE to be home when FedEx delivers your package so your laptop doesn't get chucked, Customer service is also very rude and irresponsive.

acer chrome book absolute night mare this chrome book is pathetic to say the least everything you try to do become more and more difficult, trying to download apps , then as soon as you go to open it same thing comes up, this app is not compatible with Chromebook, they off you alternative but at a price, with half of what you want missing,

They have one off everything u can't upgrade or buy parts unless acer made it which they won't even tell u the mobo which is one off.it is junk pc cause not even a year old a pc took poop with light playing and I can't do anything without acer fixing cause I can't buy parts for it. I wouldn't buy this to use as anything other then paper weight
An absolute nightmare of a company
An absolute nightmare of a company. Purchased an expensive laptop from them less than 2 years ago, but because they produce really horrible products the computer went from bad to worse in no time. When I send the computer to them to fix, they wanted to charge me more than the computer`s original price (1500 euros!). And when I told them there is no way I was paying this they asked 70 euros to ship the computer back.
I have used computers from other brands before (Asus, Lenovo, HP) but Acer is easily the worst out of all of them. For example, when I had similar problems other companies had helped me tremendously, most of the time they won`t even charge. But Acer, they will charge you 1000-1500 euros easily. At that point I went and bought myself a new computer (not from Acer of course). Never, ever buying from them again.

Purchased a laptop as advertised on…
Purchased a laptop as advertised on Acers website, made an order and received order confirmation email, after several days, order was cancelled. It has been 2 weeks since order has been made and transaction on my bank statement has been posted and Acer has yet to refund and holding my transaction funds. Acer has failed to fulfill order, and did not ship order as what was advertised on their website thus they are now holding onto the funds for over 2 weeks of this review.

Laptop with Acer under warranty
Sent laptop in under warranty because it developed a WiFi connection issue which kept dropping out. This was the second Acer Swift 1 that we had bought, that did this.
Took two months to fix laptop in spite of their stated aim of 7-10 days. They said they had miscopied my email address. They farmed out the fix to a third party and insisted I communicate with them despite my agreement being with Acer. Third party sent a link asking for money! I refused because laptop was still under warranty. They said it was not for the warranty work but to repair damage to the base - this did not exist when we sent it in!
This caused a lot of upset and worry. Eventually they returned it and we found leverage damage near a screw on the base. The upgrade to the LAN card appears to have worked. Beware! I do not recommend this model. Because of this awful experience, I would not buy Acer again.

The worst experience I ever had
The worst experience I ever had. I brough an acer chromebook and brought it in November 2021 and they told me that my warranty expired in March 2022. Sent them the invoice and they still would not honor the warranty told me that it would cost me $190.00 to get it fix. I advise everyone to not buy from this company. I also brought 2 year protection for this chrome book. I learn my lesson not to buy from Acer again. Verna Knight
Acer Monitors and Acer Customer Service
I purchased a monitor made by Acer and after a couple of months it stopped working. I had to mail it in for repairs, but it was returned back to me in the same broken state. They said that the power cord must have issues, but I used two other power cords and no it didn't fix the problem of turning on. I contacted the customer service and they stated that I would have to mail it back on my own and that they would look at it again. They did pay for the postage the first time. I didn't send it back as the warranty didn't state that they would only pay for postage one time so they could attempt to fix the item.

Acer Laptop hopeless customer service and product
I received an Acer Spin 3 laptop sometime in mid-April of 2022. I was informed that it was among the better quality units compared to hp or other laptops. It had Windows 10 built-in and to be upgraded to Windows-11. The upgrading process had a lot of issues and custom and customer service could not help at all. After several days of trial and error, windows 11 got installed. This computer comes with a one drive system that puts all files including private confidential files into the one drive system exposing them to viruses. The tech support was again of no help in removing confidential files off of one drive.
A few days later the mike system failed to work on zoom, so I had to conduct zoom on my cell phone. By default the mike is on mute mode so each time I have to reactivate the mike again. The mike is muted if you want to listen to a website, you have to unmute each time you wanted to listen to a web site. The keyboard light is kept off when you run the computer. It took the tech person 1/2 hr to explain I have to press F8 and it will be on only for 2 minutes.
My speaker stopped working I don't know since when as I have been using an earphone sincre the day I received it, to not distract the neighbors. Today, 6 months later, they tell me the computer is out of warranty, though the website says there is 1 year warranty.
I am totally disgusted with this laptop as it is totally unreliable. The screen keeps zooming in and out each time I touch the keyboard.
Please DO NOT buy any Acer computer. It is worse than the worst laptops!

Nitro 5??? Junk!!!
I bought an Acer Nitro 5 and I only used it for a month the screen is already glitching and unusable. They said to shoulder the repair and screen replacement, and all. This is not a good buy not worth the money and time. They also have poor customer service.
